Process

The documents uploaded are required for a PayFac to remain compliant. Each document is used to verify the merchant account. At a minimum it is expected that each merchant will upload at least one document of the following types:

`identity-document`

A document showing who the merchant is, including their registered business address.

`financial-document`

A document confirming ownership of the method of payment to be used, for example, a bank statement.

`business-registration`

A document to prove that the details of the merchant have been registered officially with the relevant government agencies.

If additional proof is required, users can upload supplementary evidence with document type additional-verification.

File Requirements

Must be less than 20MB in size.
